Description

This is a short-term, yet rewarding opportunity for skilled bricklayers looking for their next project. You will be working on a construction site located in London, specifically the W1 area, earning a competitive hourly wage of £24. The project may last a few weeks, perhaps extending to 1 month. This is an 8-hour per day job. Bridger has to hold Green Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.

Bricklayer Short-term CSCS Green Construction

Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Laying out patterns, forms, and foundations according to plans
  • Mixing and applying mortar
  • Placing, aligning, and levelling bricks
  • Correcting alignment and depth
  • Cleaning and polishing bricks and various other surfaces
  • Applying sealants or other protective barriers as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bricklayer
  • Valid CSCS (Green card) required
  • Knowledge and ability to comply with health safety standards
  • Physical strength and good health to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Precision and attention to details
